Speed writing at the first ever Writer’s Desk

Come to the first Writer’s Desk at the North Platte Public Library. We will kick off our event with a speed writing event!

We will present prompts for participants as inspiration to write a poem or short story for an allotted amount of time. Then we can share our results we if we are proud of them.

Speed writing sessions are a great way to get creative and may even lead to a short story or novel. This is a great opportunity for writers to set a goal and start something to work on for the new year!

The event starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 28 in the upstairs section of the North Platte Library. Come on down and meet other local writers in the area!

Questions? Contact 308-660-1105.
